Account deletion
Delete your HeapFile mobile account
Effective October 2, 2026
HeapFile provides self-service deletion in the mobile app and a web request option. Deleting the mobile account removes the account and associated HeapFile mobile cloud data. It does not remove unrelated website, desktop, organization, or payment-provider records.
Delete in the mobile app
- Open HeapFile and sign in.
- Open Account.
- Select Delete account.
- Review the warning and confirm Delete account.
The app deletes the mobile HeapFile sign-in account, account-scoped metadata, mobile cloud captures and handoffs, mobile entitlement records, and local HeapFile captures stored by the app on that device. You are signed out when deletion completes.
Request deletion on the web
If you cannot use the app, email admin@heapfile.com from the account email with the subject "HeapFile account deletion request." We will acknowledge the request within 3 business days and complete verified requests within 30 days, unless additional time or retention is required by law.
Store subscriptions are separate
Deleting HeapFile does not cancel recurring billing. Apple and Google manage store subscriptions. Cancel an iOS subscription in Apple subscription settings or an Android subscription in Google Play subscription settings. You may cancel before or after account deletion.
Data that may be retained
We may retain limited billing, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, backup, or legal records where required. Apple, Google, PayPal, and other providers retain information under their own policies. Local desktop files, exports, operating-system backups, and data outside the mobile app are not deleted by this mobile account action.
