HeapFile for VS Code proprietary license

License: proprietary HeapFile terms for HeapFile-origin extension code and assets. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses and required notices.

Licensor: VTEK Innovations LLC. VTEK has confirmed that it owns or holds written authority to license the HeapFile-origin files and assets in this extension.

1. Grant

Subject to the HeapFile Terms of Use, VTEK Innovations LLC grants the individual or organization that obtains this extension a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the unmodified extension with a supported Visual Studio Code installation for its internal, lawful use. The extension is provided without a separate license fee. This grant does not transfer ownership or grant rights to HeapFile source code, other HeapFile products, or third-party software. By installing or using the extension, you accept these terms.

2. Restrictions

Except where this license or applicable law permits, you may not sell, sublicense, publish, or redistribute the extension or its source; remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or other notices; or modify, adapt, or create derivative works from it. Nothing here restricts rights that applicable law does not permit a license to restrict. Do not bypass security, workspace-trust, authentication, or entitlement controls.

3. Paid services

Installing this extension does not grant a subscription or access to paid cloud connectors, managed builds, team services, or other paid features. Those services require the account service to verify a current entitlement at the service boundary. A local setting, operating-system choice, client subscription, or modified local state cannot grant paid access.

4. Third-party software

Any third-party component distributed with the extension remains subject to its own license and required notices. This license does not claim ownership of third-party materials or replace their terms. The packaged VSIX must include all notices required for its bundled components.

5. Warranty and liability

The extension is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, VTEK Innovations LLC disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss. Nothing here limits rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow to be limited. These terms do not promise immunity from claims.

6. Relationship to customer terms

The HeapFile Terms of Use apply to account, billing, service, and paid-feature use. This extension license supplements those terms for use of the VS Code extension. The product terms govern account and service matters; this license governs the extension. Applicable law controls where a term cannot be enforced.

Terms note: Applicable law and any existing customer agreement may affect the warranty, liability, acceptance, or precedence language. Where an existing customer agreement conflicts with these extension terms, that agreement controls to the extent it applies to the user and extension.
